Down on Broadway at 31-14, Bahari Estiatorio leans into the home-style, motherly end of Greek cooking. The name means “spice” or “sea breeze” depending on who you ask, and the kitchen makes the kind of moussaka, lamb chops, and dips that taste like somebody’s yiayia is back there worrying you are not eating enough. Rustic room, generous plates.

It gets busy, so a weeknight is your friend. But for the baked, comforting, casserole side of Greek food, the stuff the seafood tavernas skip, Bahari is where I would send you.
