The Flower Shop on Eldridge Street pulls double duty as a restaurant and bar, and it does both well. The cocktails are creative without being annoying about it. The food is better than it needs to be for a bar.
The crowd here trends younger and fashionable. Think gallery openings, not finance bros. It’s a good spot to start the night before things get messy at one of the dives further down Ludlow.
Their happy hour pricing hovers around $10 for cocktails, which isn’t dirt cheap, but the quality is a real step up from the $6 well drinks at Pianos. If you care about what’s actually in your glass, this is a smart move.
