Fonda is the ideal happy hour spot in Chelsea for anyone with a mild guacamole obsession. This Mexican restaurant serves authentic dishes and great tequila-based cocktails. Happy hour runs all day Monday. You’ll find $11 appetizers and $7-12 alcoholic beverages, the $12 mezcalita has no business being so good.

The vibe here is warm and unpretentious, the kind of place where you can settle in and lose track of time. I usually order the house special and have never been let down. It’s one of those things that. Honestly, this spot has a special place in my heart. It’s where I go when I want to treat myself to something really good.
