Bocca di Bacco is a no-frills Italian restaurant just steps from the High Line. Happy hour is offered exclusively at the bar but the $5 beer, $8 wine and $10 cocktails make it easy to brave the bar stools for the night. Add some $1.50 oysters or meatballs to the mix and you’re all set for one of the best happy hours in Chelsea.

The space itself is beautifully designed without feeling overly precious. You can tell they put thought into every detail. If it’s your first time, I’d recommend starting with their house special, it’s what they’re known for and it won’t disappoint. Honestly, this spot has a special place in my heart. It’s where I go when I want to treat myself to something really good.

Bocca di Bacco is an inviting Italian restaurant with hearty brunch plates ranging from pancakes to spaghetti alla carbonara. Come the weekend, it offers one of the most popular bottomless brunch in New York City, with two hours of bottomless drinks for $26 per person (entree is separate).

Choose from champagne, sangria, Bellinis, mimosas, screwdrivers or Bloody Mary. The bartenders are keen to impress, so the service is pretty reliable at all three locations. Empty glasses get refilled quickly so the disciple to pace yourself is up to you.
