In business for nearly 30 years, Gigino Trattoria has become a neighborhood staple. Serving fresh Italian fare in a setting reminiscent of a Tuscan Villa the Tribeca restaurant has grown loyal fans. The weathered floors bear witness to the thousands of folks who have wandered in for a comforting meal.
Ideal for a romantic date, Gigino Trattoria offers an intimate atmosphere that allows you to focus solely on your partner. The menu, centered mainly around a delightful array of made-to-order pizzas from the rustic oven near the entrance, is refreshingly simple yet satisfying. It’s no wonder why Gigino Trattoria is considered one of the best restaurants in Tribeca.
Fun fact: One of the owners of Gigino Trattoria made an independent film starring Danny Aiello that was largely filmed in the restaurant. Named Dinner Rush and released in 2001, the film is available on Prime Video.
