Specializing in knock-out tapas every day of the week, Jose Luis’s generous East Village happy hour menu takes things a step further with $5 drinks and half-priced tapas. I’m partial to the grilled octopus and patatas bravas. Ask to be seated in the outdoor patio for the liveliest vibes.
I love the energy in here, especially on weekday mornings when it’s mostly locals grabbing their usual orders. I’ve brought friends from out of town here and the reaction is always the same, they can’t believe they hadn’t heard of it.
