Pianos at 158 Ludlow Street is one of those places that’s been around forever and still holds up. $6 cocktails during happy hour, Monday through Friday, 4 to 7 PM.

There are two floors. Upstairs is more of a chill bar scene. Downstairs has live music most nights and it gets sweaty in the best possible way. The crowd is a mix of people who’ve lived here for years and people who just moved to Williamsburg but still come down for the energy.

Make no mistake. This is a dive bar. If you want craft ice and menu descriptions longer than three words, look elsewhere. But for $6 cocktails in Manhattan? You deal with it.
