Sailor at 228 DeKalb comes from April Bloomfield, the chef behind the old Spotted Pig, and it is a proper neighborhood bistro with a serious wine list. This is the splurge on my list. If you are doing a fancy date that happens to include a game, this is your table. Bloomfield does the elevated-familiar thing better than almost anyone, so order whatever sounds like comfort food and trust it. Reservations open two weeks out at 11 a.m. on OpenTable and they go fast, so this one takes a little planning.
