The plot.Seated at the round table of jesters, this musical comedy was inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. My take. Spamalot is one of the funniest Broadway shows in New York City. How do I know? I was sore (from laughing) the day after the show, however, it’s is great for a very specific British-style of humor. We saw Spamalot because my husband grew up watching Monty Python (and loves it!), but I didn’t, so I kept my expectations low. If you loved Monty Python, you’re going to love this popular NYC Broadway Show!
