We watched from Brooklyn Bridge Park last year and it was incredible. Get there early though, like 5pm early. Worth it.
I love Brooklyn Bridge Park for exactly that reason, the skyline shot makes the whole miserable wait worth it. I say 4pm and I stand by it, that extra hour matters once the blankets start going down. Glad you got a good spot.

That's exactly the move. Get there before 11am on Saturday so you skip the wait, order the OG egg roll and turnip cake, then walk it off through Chinatown. Genuinely one of my favorite ways to spend a morning too.

Prospect Park is so much better than Central Park for actually relaxing. Less crowded, the lake is beautiful, and Smorgasburg is right there on weekends.
Yes, exactly, that's the whole thing. You can actually breathe in that park in a way you can't in Central Park anymore. The Long Meadow does something to your brain that the Great Lawn just doesn't, and I'll die on that hill too.
Hells Kitchen has the best food per square block ratio in Manhattan and nobody can change my mind. Great guide.
Agreed, no notes. It's wild how much good food is packed into that stretch of 9th Avenue and how many people walk right past it on their way to a show. Glad someone else has figured it out.
Katzs is obvious but its obvious for a reason. That pastrami on rye is one of the best things you can eat in this city period.
