Three floors, a 63-foot bar, and around 90 taps. This is the spot when you are wrangling a big group or killing time before a bus or a show. The happy hour deals are solid and the sheer number of beers means everyone finds something.
It can get loud and a little chaotic at peak, that is the honest truth, it is right by the terminal. But for volume, value, and beer selection, it is hard to beat on the west side.
300 West 40th Street, Midtown. Three floors, 90 beers on tap, and a happy hour (3-7pm Monday through Friday) with $5 select drafts. This is a lifesaver if you’re near Times Square and refuse to pay $14 for a Bud Light at an Irish pub. The rooftop (open in summer) has surprisingly good views of the Midtown skyline. It’s touristy, sure, but $5 craft beer with a skyline view is a genuinely good deal.
