The Grey Dog is a cozy neighborhood spot known for great food and good vibes. During happy hour, you can score. For food, traditional pub appetizers go for $12, but if you buy two you’ll get the third free.
The feel here is warm and unpretentious, the kind of place where you can settle in and lose track of time. I usually order the go-to order and have never been let down. It’s one of those things that tastes like they actually care about getting it right. Every time I come back, the quality is exactly the same, which says a lot about a place in a city where restaurants can be inconsistent.
As long as you’re able to snag a table outside, The Grey Dog is one of the most accommodating dog-friendly restaurants in New York City. Serving brunch all day, you can enjoy the laid-back environment without having to set an alarm clock.
