The High Line has views all along its length, but the section around 17th Street has a viewing platform that looks directly out over 10th Avenue with the city stretching in both directions. At sunset this spot is pure magic. And while the High Line gets crowded, this specific platform seems to stay relatively calm. Sit on one of the wooden loungers and watch the city go gold.
