In NYC, Australian cafes are a dime a dozen, but Hole in the Wall feels surprisingly different. More of a casual sit-down joint, this Financial District cafe is a popular destination every day of the week.
During weekdays it swells with coworkers catching up between meetings over proper coffee. Come the weekend and you’ll find it challenging to score a table for brunch.
An Australian restaurant first and foremost, Hole in the Wall is a great option for Australian fare, like avocado toast and eggs Benedict. Not hungry? No worries, great coffee pours throughout the day, standouts include the Nutella mocha and Aussie iced coffee (espresso, milk & cream).
