I brought my mom here on her first visit. She still talks about it.

Visiting Madison Square Park is undeniably one of the best things to do in the Flatiron District. Despite the park’s modest 6.2-acre size, it’s relatively lively and seldom empty. It’s also home to the original Shake Shack location, making it worthy of a detour.

Surrounded by shops and restaurants, the park is a convenient place to grab a quick bite while visiting the Flatiron Building. Finding an empty seat might be a challenge on sunny days, since the park is popular among locals and tourists alike, but not without reason! The people-watching is top-notch.
