New York City restaurants draw inspiration from a multitude of global cuisines. Schiller Stube’s, for instance, channels the essence of Berlin’s food carts, renowned for making some of NYC’s best hotdogs.
Despite its cozy size, this eatery prioritizes the essentials, with a simple counter for ordering. While not the cheapest, their hotdogs are far from ordinary. The Classic, priced at $9, features a top-quality bratwurst with mustard and sauerkraut.
The Upper East Side hotdog shop also sells a slew of other small but comforting bites. Mac and cheese, chicken sandwiches, and pretzels are all par for the course.
