The Ace Hotel location (18 West 29th Street in the Flatiron District) is classic. Take the N/R to 28th Street.
Yes, Stumptown started in Portland. But their New York locations have become such a part of the city’s coffee culture that I consider them honorary New Yorkers. The hair bender blend is consistently excellent. Their cold brew is one of the best grab-and-go options in the city. And the Ace Hotel location has some of the best people-watching in Manhattan. Freelancers on laptops, fashion people between meetings, tourists who accidentally wandered in. It’s a whole ecosystem.
