The West Village is arguably the most charming neighborhood in New York City. There’s a ton of quaint corner cafes to grab a warm drink before strolling the cobblestone streets hand-in-hand with your special someone in tow.

If you’re visiting New York City in the fall for a few days, carve some time to explore the neighborhood without an itinerary in hand. Not every minute of an adventure needs to be planned, so spend a while aimlessly wandering about.

Admire the handsome brownstones, pop into cozy shops and spend some time appreciating the decorated window displays. Enjoy the fall colors in New York City and be prepared to pull up apartment listings because it’s hard not to fall under the neighborhood’s spell.

Few neighborhoods in New York City are as charming as the Greenwich Village. The area is known for quaint streets, pricey brownstone and cozy cafes. Playing host to historic jazz clubs and top-notch cocktail bars, it’s one of the 10 best neighborhood in Manhattan to explore for first time visitors.

Fans of the TV show Friends can visit the apartment building used in the show’s opening credits, while enthusiasts of Sex and the City can take a picture in front of Carrie Bradshaw’s brownstone. There are so many beautiful neighborhoods to explore in New York City, but nothing tops the charm of the West Village. Known for quaint tree-lined streets, beautiful brownstones (worth $15-30 million!) and meandering cobblestone streets, the area brims with cozy corner cafes, historic jazz clubs and some of the city’s best cocktails bar.
