The Upper East Side might be known for its museums and old-money brownstones, but I’ve always thought the pizza up here is wildly underrated. I lived on East 83rd for two years and made it my personal mission to try every UES pizza spot within walking distance. Some of them are neighborhood legends that have been slinging pies since before I was born, and they earned that reputation honestly.
I’ve eaten more pizza than I care to admit. These are the spots that actually deserve the hype.
