If you’re visiting New York City in January, you’ll be happy to learn that there’s never a shortage of great things to do. Over the past decade, I’ve learned that NYC is quietest in January, largely thanks to the seasonal dip in tourism.

But hey, you won’t hear me complaining! Lines are shorter and reservations are much easier to score, visiting NYC in January is bound to be a great time!

  3. Eataly (Bubbles & Cheese Class)Market · Financial DistrictThis popular Italian marketplace is part-grocery store and part-restaurant venue, and hosts some of the best food classes in NYC.
  4. Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical GardenEvent · The BronxA cherished winter activity in New York City, the New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show is not to be missed while visiting NYC in January.
