Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is a rite of passage for visitors of any age. The scenic, 1-mile walk offers views of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan’s skyline, and the East River.

Once you land in DUMBO, reward the kids (and yourself) with a spin on Jane’s Carousel—a charming 1920s ride housed in a glass pavilion right on the water. At just $3 per rider, it’s one of the most affordable and iconic kid-friendly experiences in the city.

    You can even see the Statue of Liberty (which will give you plenty to talk about)! Plus, having photos of your kids on the bridge is a priceless memory. Once across, head to DUMBO to explore the trendy area before ending your tour at Jane’s Carousel.

    Jane’s Carousel is a beautiful vintage wooden carousel that dates back to 1922. Riding the carousel ($2 per person) is an famous NYC experience for families (the views are spectacular). Then, if you’re feeling peckish, head to the Time Out Market for a bite.
