One of the most timeless Christmas traditions, Christmas caroling, takes place every year in Washington Square Park. Classics like Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men can be heard on Christmas Eve usually around sunset, sung by chipper locals from a variety of backgrounds and ages. It’s one of the best family-friendly events in NYC in December, both to participate in or just spectate!
