Found on the 20th floor of the citizenM New York Bowery Hotel is cloudM, one of the best rooftop bars in the Lower East Side. The bar has a terrace as well as lounge-like indoor seating, so there’s no need to cancel plans if the weather goes south.
The space features unique and modern artwork, adding a swanky feel. Despite its modernity, the atmosphere remains laid-back and unpretentious, thanks to the friendly staff and casual small groups. Drinks are typical for a hotel bar, and there’s beer and wine available for those who prefer simpler options.
Before you leave, be sure to check out the bathroom, trust me, it’s worth it. The street-facing wall is a full glass window, half-shaded for privacy. This unique feature extends the views to the bathroom, making cloudM one of the best rooftop bars in the Lower East Side!
