It's on 3 of my lists. Each entry below is what I wrote about it there, with my verdict on that list, the fullest first.

Erin McKenna’s opened in 2005 with a simple mission in mind. Serve gluten-free treats tailored to folks with gluten, egg, soy and dairy sensitivities. The success was staggering and within a year it became one of the most popular gluten free bakeries in New York City.
Churning out some of the tastiest celiac-free baked goods in NYC, it’s impossible to stop at one order. The entire bakery is also kosher, egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free and soy-free as well. But you wouldn’t know any of that if it weren’t for the signage, because frankly, it’s hard to tell.
The baked goods are on par with their gluten counterparts, and equally satisfying. The seasonal treats are especially great and warrant a detour.

The health-conscious bakery knocks it out of the park with sweets. Items like cupcakes, doughnuts, and brownies are crowd favorites. Not only is this one of the best gluten-free bakeries in the Lower East Side, but the entire selection is also kosher, egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and soy-free.
Unpopular opinion. Controversial take. Most NYC bakeries are overpriced and underwhelming. These are the exceptions.
We have a handful of friends that are gluten-free, as such, we’ve spent our fair share of time searching for the best gluten-free birthday cakes in NYC as well. After many slices, I can confidently say that nothing tops Erin McKenna’s Bakery. This Lower East Side bakery is. They’re gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and kosher yet churn out a mean birthday cake.
