Though the TV show Friends was filmed in California, the show is set in New York City. And visitors can stop by the corner of Bedford and Grove Streets to see the apartment’s exterior used in the opening credits. You won’t be able to enter the building, but there’s a charming cafe below, which is not Central Perk like it is in the show. Instead, it’s called The Little Owl.
