Bryant Park is a worthwhile destination year-round, but there’s something truly special about the holiday season when the park transforms into a European-inspired holiday market.
Home to more than 100 vendors selling crafts out of endearing glass-enclosed stalls, the market has a few things going for it.
Dwarfed by Midtown Manhattan’s iconic skyscrapers, the market plays host to one of the most famous Christmas trees in New York City and the largest free skating rink in town (skate rentals clock in at a steep $36 though. So bring your own if you have them).
Vendors span the gamut, from hand-painted ornaments to wooden chopsticks repurposed as bowls, you’ll find a tons of unique souvenirs and holiday gifts. Likewise, the food options are some of the best of all the holiday markets in New York City.
Admire the tree, glide around the ice rink or window shop the various stalls. Whatever your speed, you’re bound to have a great time.
