Jua, a modern Korean gem in the Flatiron District, isn’t just delicious, it’s Michelin-approved without burning a hole in your wallet. Opened in 2019, Chef Ho Young Kim serves up a 7-course tasting menu for $140, highlighting classic Korean flavors with a New York edge.
Think smoky Korean jook with eel, crisp seaweed cradling tuna tartare and caviar, or melt-in-your-mouth galbi with housemade kimchi. Bonus points for the open kitchen, where you can witness the culinary magic live! The $100 wine pairing is also worth the added expense, highlighting different notes in each course.
