As you may have guessed, Mezcali is a prime spot for mezcal and margaritas. Frozen or on the rocks, the house margarita goes for $9 during happy hour, but you can customize it to your liking with additional flavors for $2. I’m a fan of the smoky mezcalita and paloma spritz as well (both $9).
If beer is more your speed, select drafts go for $7, wine for $9. As for the food, the happy hour menu has all the usual suspects, from creamy guacamole and bright salsa platters to incredible elote (roasted corn ribs, tajin mayo, cotija, cilantro) and toothsome nachos.
