Walker’s has been charming Tribeca since 1987. In a city where storied neighborhood taverns are becoming more elusive, Walker’s hangs on a glorified past of cold beers and reliable pub fare. The well-worn bar has seen locals through many milestones over proper burgers and hearty breakfast meals.
In keeping with the times, Walker’s introduced a modern American brunch to its rotation. Eggs Benedict, Cuban sandwiches, huevos rancheros and hearty breakfast burritos are all up for grabs at this charming Tribeca brunch haunt.
There’s a fine line between a lively bar and a casual neighborhood restaurant , Walker’s toes it masterfully. Established in 1987, the joint has become a local institution with its familiar and comfortable vibes. The menu consists of wholesome, home-style classics like roasted half chicken, mac & cheese and meatloaf. The unpretentious, classic American tavern vibe is hard to beat which is why Walker’s is considered one of the best restaurants in Tribeca.
