Bakeri is often billed as the most charming cafe in Brooklyn and it’s hard to disagree. A colorful mural provides a backsplash of vibrant colors that set the tone for this relaxing Greenpoint experience. Opened in 2009, this local bakery attracts locals in hordes most weekend mornings.

The display case is filled with irresistible treats (both savory and sweet options are available) and the smell of fresh-baked bread is nothing short of intoxicating. Between the decor and great bites, I love suggesting Bakeri to folks visiting Greenpoint for the first time. It’s an easy place to love!

Trying one of Bakeri’s delicacies is like seeing color for the first time. Everything from their coffee creations to delicious baked goods is guaranteed to satisfy, which is why I consider this one of the best cafés in Brooklyn.

As someone that grew up eating conchas (Mexican sweet bread) like it was my job, I can’t recommend their’s enough. Paired with a latté and a good friend, it’s hard to beat this Brooklyn café.
