One sip of this NYC hot chocolate and you’ll be hooked, I swear. This type of hot cocoa is velvety smooth when hot but solidifies to a soft chocolate bar when it cools.

Jacques Torres is a chocolate shop first and foremost. So, should we act surprised when they end up creating one of the best cookies in New York City? Unlike the other cookies mentioned on the list so far, Jacques Torres’s version is mostly chewy and seldom served warm.

I must admit, upon first glance I assumed the cookies would be dry due to the texture (it was so flat!). So imagine my surprise when I bit into a satisfyingly chewy treat chock full of chocolate discs (as opposed to chips). The best!
