The first time I walked into the lobby, I felt like a movie star and an eight-year-old all at once. That’s the power of this place.

I’ve visited during the holidays just to see the decorations and picture little Kevin ordering room service and jumping on the bed. I’ve lingered by the fountain where so many film scenes have ended — or begun. The Plaza isn’t just a luxury hotel, it’s one of the most iconic film locations in NYC. For me, it holds a special kind of magic. It captures the glamour and nostalgia of a cinematic New York, the kind where anything feels possible. Even if you don’t stay there, step inside.
