My morning coffee spots in Brooklyn.

I’ve lived in Brooklyn long enough to have opinions about coffee. Strong ones. And I’ve wasted enough mornings at places that look amazing on Instagram but serve you a $7 oat milk latte that tastes like warm dishwater.

So here’s the deal. These are my actual morning spots. The places I go back to, not the ones I visited once for a photo op. Some of them are trendy, some are not, and I’m going to be honest about all of them.

  7. Supercrown Coffee RoastersCafe · BushwickThe cold brew here is the best I’ve had in the borough.
  8. Cha Cha MatchaCafe · WilliamsburgCha Cha Matcha actually makes a really good matcha latte, and sometimes that’s what I want.
  9. Blue Bottle CoffeeCafe · WilliamsburgBut the Williamsburg location, set inside an old warehouse space, is still one of my favorite places to drink coffee in Brooklyn.
