PlantShed is a paradise for fellow plant enthusiasts. While their original Upper West Side location has been a green oasis in the urban jungle for over 40 years, it’s their SoHo outpost that has one of the most adorable cafes in NYC.
Amidst the plant frenzy that has swept the city in recent years, PlantShed has capitalized by offering a space where folks can enjoy an iced matcha latte while surrounded by lush greenery. The plants and flowers are available for purchase, so it’s common to see visitors leaving with a latte in one hand a hanging basket in the other.
Similar to other charming cafes in NYC, most PlantShed locations offer ample space for guests to bring their laptops and unwind. Whether it’s for work or leisurely reading, PlantShed provides a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.
Unpopular opinion. Unpopular opinion. Most “specialty coffee” shops in NYC are more about aesthetics than actual good coffee.
