Partners used to be Toby’s Estate, and the name change confused people, but the coffee stayed good. This is my “I just need a solid latte and a place to sit” pick. No pretension, no attitude, just good drinks and a comfortable room.

The Williamsburg spot on N 6th has great natural light and enough outlets to actually get work done. Their cortado is my go-to. It’s well-balanced, not too acidic, and they don’t rush you out.

Make no mistake. This isn’t the flashiest coffee in Brooklyn. But it’s the one I come back to when I don’t want to think about it.
